Collected yesterday morning after a long wait since starting conversation with new employer in mid-March. Looks good in Harvard Blue and nice to drive. Doesn't like corners where the road is rough under the N/S wheel. Factory options are paint, Espresso brown interior and swivel tow bar. Dealer fitted mudflaps. I got knocked back on LED headlights.
Dash etc is great. Stupid rear seat is only 2.5 and not 3 person, not that this is unique to VW. Who uses an estate with only 4 adults in it? Mean VW only supply one of the nice chrome keys. My benchmark estate is my old '02 Merc E Class, 210 shape, and it doesn't come close for fit, finish or roominess but then, what car does?
The test will be next week when the lot of us head to the coast with 5 bikes and dog!
Overall very pleased.
