Couple of questions re satnav and sms.

I had no luck with the last questions so maybe I'll do better with these!

1. How do you turn the satnav voice guidance on and off?
2. How do you get the car to notify you when you get a text? Unless I happen to check and see the little envelope symbol I'd never know. Is there a way to get it to beep or something.
3. It will read my text out to me but won't give me the option to compose a reply although it mentions that possibility in the handbook. Is the a way to make that option appear?
