Driver's Seat Bolster

I have a GT with alcantara seats. I'm beginning to feel a metal bar just under the surface of the leather in the raised seat bolster nearest to the door. It's as if the padding underneath has come apart, and I'm afraid it will eventually break through the seat covering. Anyone noticed anything similar?
