Engine/bay

Post by Gary70 »

My engine although not tatty is looking well dusty and generally grubby, its not oily just has what looks like baked on engine dirt.

I also changed the plugs recently and even though I wiped and vacuumed around the plugs as best I could, I must have got a bit if dirt in there somehow as I had a slight misfire, it fixed with a little trot down the M1 link and back.

Is there any product/technique to get it all sparky clean again and also clean out the spark plug holes, they are pretty deep.

I remember ages ago on my old D plate Cav SRi, soaking it in Gunk and then setting a jet wash on it, these though look a bit more delicate.
