ok red 90's VW seem to all suffer from this at some point but the lacquer lifts on the panels that get most of the sun (roof and bonnet).
none has actualyl flaked on mine yet but you can see what looks liek little pools or bubbles wher eit will eventually lift one day.
whats the best way of keep ing this at bay?? plenty of wax? not too much polish?
