CCM Replacement - Coding Question

Hi,

On my wife's 2007 VW Touran I had an electrical issue which fried the CCM module and I got a replacement from ebay.

Unfortunately I could not login to the old unit to get any coding information.

I have installed the new unit and am having issues as my Ancel VD500 reads the CCM module, but my Ancel VD700 does not! I have contacted the supplier of the VD700 to check if this is an issue with the unit, but no idea how long it will take them to respond. What is interesting is that the VD700 reads the error codes when I scan, but not when I access the module directly and then try again!

Could this be due to coding?
