It is nice the boy in me wants to take it for a blast down the backlanes but i have to be grown up and set a positive example. Insurance was a suprise 426 for a year but im sure that will go up when he passes his test.

Still even if it doubles for a 17 year old who's just passed their test, that is still cheap!!!

It is very cheap lass next door passed her test last year shes 30 and pays £190 a month for a 1.6 focus im 47 passed my test 1986 never made a claim and renewal for my 85 bhp T5 van is over £350 only mods to that are windows and seats in the back. I took the polo out for a spin and boy is it slow compared to the old passat sport or even the T5 but it drives ok and safety 1st for a learner driver did a scan for fault codes before and after a drive and its clear just need to raise the ride hieght and change the tyre for the correct size and he can start using it at end of the month when he taxes it. We had to laugh at him it has an old vw beta stereo casette player he had to ask what you put in the slot as he didnt think a cd would fit
