Hi everyone. Have just bought a 2001 seat leon and the drivers door lock barrel was just spinning (rcl doesn't work either), also the door lock mechanism wasn't working. The button inside the door to lock all doors works to lock/unlock the other 3 doors. So I swapped out the door lock mech and the door locks to ones from a mk4 golf. First off the key again just spun in the lock with nothing happening then eventually it locked/unlocked the doors. But once the doors were unlocked the drivers door wouldn't open and was deadlocked, only way to open it was hit it above the handle to release it.
The locks and module worked perfect in the golf so don't know why it would be dead locking the Leon's drivers door now?
Any ideas or would the mechanism need changed again?
