Also the pipe that i've arrowed there seems to be a mist of oil on that as well and i don't know what it is either, could anyone please help and send me a few pointers.

I've circled a nut underneath the car that seems to be spotting oil - what is this? New to diesel engined VAGs.
Also the pipe that i've arrowed there seems to be a mist of oil on that as well and i don't know what it is either, could anyone please help and send me a few pointers.
