Hi everyone I have recently bought a Audi A4 Tdi (b6) and i believe I had to traditional all the most common brake problem fine for while when I got it then wham problems
The brakes went on me on the m25 pedal went solid as a rock
So got home got it too the trusted vag specialist I use confirmed servo had gone
Replaced servo and master cylinder and the pipes but pipes were dealer parts, the vac pump was tested also with a new one and then new vac pump returned as my vac pump was fine, all in all I was without car 3 weeks due to parts on back order n Xmas
Got car back before Xmas with a rather large bill 3 miles later same thing ( it was tested before handover)
Problem now was pedal down ok lift of pedal down again it was solid
So servo (new) was replaced on warranty no charge done 300 miles since and now Xmas day it failed again
Pedal down its fine, lift foot off apply brake pedal again it's solid but works without servo assistance
Very nerv racking and plenum from its were all removed n cleared also
Any ideas welcomed before I ho back again tomorrow
Cheers guys
