Help! Engine in wife's 1400 W reg Golf Mk4 blown up - its in a garage in Manchester who say they can't get a reconned engine for this model, only new available - at £2000! Anyone any ideas or suggestions for where we could get a good reconditioned engine fitted - old engine is a write off - big hole in the block!
