Last Saturday gone saw me and Adam - (Adam Gti, i take my hat off to you sir) having a long drive down to Reading. For once it was a nice sunny day and the tone was set.
Having preciously sold the 3.5 it was time to go shopping...
and this is what i bought.
Project - 'I Ain't No Topless Trailer Queen'
Mk3 cabby - completely standard, 2.0 8v Satin silver

![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/pic5.jpg)
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/pic2.jpg)
Plans... well where do i start...
and now
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/suspension/after.jpg)
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/suspension/How-low.jpg)
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/suspension/pic1.jpg)
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/suspension/pic2.jpg)
The suspension bought was a supposed drop of 50/40 but it's more like 90/90 lol - not complaining![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/4.gif)
De-arched the car as well - which has left very deep lines in the paint. So that's something else to do when detailing it
Also thanks to Adam VR - for a few interior bits
Hangers
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/suspension/hangers.jpg)
Shiny door pulls
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/suspension/door-pulls.jpg)
Well after a hard day of rolling and pulling arches... the buggers fit![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/4.gif)
(A massive thanks to Rich @ Venom for letting my borrow and use his arch rolling tool (beers for you
)
and SyAir3 for bring it round)

the wheels are - Felgenschmiede FS11's

Hankook 215x35x17
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/wheels/Tyre.jpg)
On the car...
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/wheels/doggy.jpg)
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/wheels/one-wheel.jpg)
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/wheels/side-on.jpg)
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/wheels/side.jpg)
![Image](http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/cav17/cabby/wheels/back.jpg)
Over all i am very pleased with them. The arches still need some work. Need to take out the front arch liners and roll those too.
Going to add some Camber to the rears as they catch ever so slightly.
They are a dark green at the moment, buts that's changing![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/4.gif)
