Thoughts on Audi A2

Hi folks,

Just after your views on the Audi A2.

My wife's Touareg is up for sale and there's no real need for us to have a big jeep anymore. We are toying with the idea of whoever has the kids uses the Passat wagon and the other could use a small car for work.

We both like the look of it strangely enough, although it's not everyone's cup of tea.

The diesel engine seems to return great mpg and £30 tax. The petrol seems ok too. I'd prefer diesel but any petrol views?

Also what's the drive like, I've never been in one and wasn't sure if it's a higher seat position or the shape of the car just looks that way. I drove a Merc A class before and found the seat position awful.

Really any comments positive or negative would be appreciated.

Chances are if we fancy one it'll be a trip across the water as there isn't too many here in Northern Ireland.
