Run a new cable from under the dash - take the lower knee bolster off and it's post 75x (yellow) on the right hand side.

If you mean "just" fitting lowering springs and staying with your OEM struts, then most (myself included) would advise against it. The OEM struts are paired with the OEM springs, changing one without the other tends to have a negative effect - it'll go lower, but the ride will be compromis...

Sorry, I misread your earlier post and thought you had damp patches of water in the car (rather than the battery plenum)

Went to dealer today to obtain radio code for removing battery, before leaving i just asked if any outstanding recalls. I got my calculator out, added 2 to 2 and came up with 34207835.
