I remembered the direction of the cable and installed it the same way.

I have an Eonon GA5153F headunit

The AUX Heater fault code did not go away, I tried to clear the code but it didn't work. I went out for a while before rescanning the car.

Now the scans show an error with the radio, that is fine. Can-~Gateway I have no idea, I tried changing a number of settings but I cannot win.

I find the AUX Heat error a little unusual, I doesn't appear on the list at the top of the scan but does show up detailed at the bottom of the scan.

Thus cable is a nightmare to get in. It has made my dial which changes the direction of air to be quite stiff.

Plus my rear window heating button isn't working now, not sure what to do with that.

Any advise.

i'm going to take out my climate thingy and headunit tomorrow to clip on the cable i pulled out and will test your method. I'll try running ir of my sdcard, hope it will work as Sygnic is probably the best offline sat nav I have come across.

XDA developers would be the best option.

You can get whatever you want for operating systems/distros without paying for them. Just find the right apk files and following all instruction by release groups/uploaders.
