It all depends on the condition of your original dampers, wot. Milage has the car done on standard dampers you will be puttin extra pressure on em by lowerin the spring height, if yours is a sport it's already got a 15mm drop difference compares to a standard SE passat and the dampers are better set...

the noise we are on about sounds like really noisy tappets

my engine sounds like this

it does it when its been idlin for a while or stood in traffic

all i can put it down to is the oil pump, or the oil pick up blocked in the sump

when its been drivin its fine coz the oil is driven round the engine

im led to believe that these have to be secured to the floor on a concrete base

in the spare wheel well in the boot you should finb a sticker with loads of codes on it
