From reading the MAF cleaner instructions sounds a ball ache, but ill give it a go. May as well check these hoses at same time...

DTC's? I haven't got the scanning gear myself, so is there a way of resetting the dash engine light using the stalk?

Right, the engine light has come on again!!! Haven't had chance to clean the MAF yet and won't get chance until Sat morn (hopefully dry) Concern is that something happens between now and then, should I be worried? If the light wasn't on you wouldn't know there was an issue by way it runs. If I wait ...

I've got FK Street coilies, adjustable so can go as low as you like, I don't have it too low, but be prepared for a harder ride, wouldn't mind hearing more on MAF too...I have just ordered the cleaner off eBay for £8, haven't tried it yet but meant to be good!

Just in case I need a new MAF, I was looking to see how much they are, and price seems to vary a LOT! Some are £25, others £250!

Also finding it hard to confirm the part number, does anyone know the part number for a 2005 B5.5 2.0 20v Passat? I think my engine code is ALT.
