I bough one from ebay seller in uk. Stainless steel machine polished etc. I bought r line one to match rest of the pedals. Will try to find a link. New buzzer from vw or ebay. Afaik it should be on the right. Same side as your buzzer. To remove side trim: floor out , rear plastic trim out ( the one for boot lock ). , all side hooks out , few plastic tabs once you look up . And it held by few metal tabs. Can send you a pic from etka.

Pdc or ops control unit is in the boot behind side boot trim. Yes , you can place it anythere you like mate.

Its a 1 min job with vcds. Im in London so doesnt help


Also advice for future. No key in ignition while any plugs / connectors unplugged. ;)

Footrest is not in a right shape. Also you can get full set oem pedals for around £100. And it will be whole accelerator unit not like this sticky poo. Its hard to find r line one , was looking for one for 6 months. Clutch and brake pedals ( r line ) are around £12 each from dealers. Check ebay it...

Its not so hard but takes dome time abd skills. So new grilles, fogs , harness . Wiring in the bumper then through rubber grommet behind battery you will come out glove box side . Then wiring to bcm . And trigger wire from light switch to bcm. ;)

Yes you can do coding before . Bulb out errors only apply to external lights because of safety. Interior lights faults will be stored only while you scan with vcds but not on mfd. ;)

Any premium will work in b6 , starting 3AA or 3C8. The only difference with 3aa you will need 7n0 gateway and you will loose convienence and L&V menus. With 3c8 you will have all. Example of 3c8 clocks : 3C8920981G Plus dont forget tdi clocks have revs different from petrol. Also you can buy kmh...

Power fold mirrors will work always from driver door knob , with correct door modules of course. ;)
They do not work on all cars from remote , unless you install chinese aftermarket module for folding. All been done and info in my build thread somethere. ;)

Light and vision menu on mfd , some 30byte cecm modules allow front windscreen. Like mine for example.

Custom made with double outlets will cost only around 400-500 all in. Even you can choose any tips you like. Whats the point paying for overpriced oem ?

So few exterior and interior updates will be up soon. Something different for front , new wheels ( hopefully) and some new colors in the dash. ;)
