Someone here did do it with limited success , it's not as sweet going into some or 1 particular gear.

I think Blacksmoke do, although I haven't had the pleasure of seeing an actual dyno print out of it . Mines a CCC-Tech. On a stock map the torque comes in and out too aggressively around 2k and on a printout this looks like a mountain peak which is known as a "spike". A big hill is better ...

Granted a map with 290+lbft might make a used clutch wave the white flag. But a reduced torque clutch friendly remap actually cured my clutch slip due to the incredibly flat torque curve . So in essence there are remaps that will make the car drive better and do a better job of looking after the clu...

I understand what your saying about combustion temps and turbo life as the C02 in the exhaust gasses has a cooling effect , we don't suffer the concesquences unlike a Renault derv with a non working egr .

We have an intercooler and oil cooler so we're good .
