Hi, Changed the CTS to a BERU make, noticed the difference straight away, the car took 15 mins to get to 90 degrees, and it sat there, only once did the temp fall below 85 because i had the heating on full so i could get any air out the system. I have oredered a BERU cts from ebay, hopefully it will get to the right temp,

I logged the temps in vcds its not too bad but i know the car is not reaching correct temp since it was a few weeks ago.

Hi, Changed my CTS and thermostat about 6 months ago, the engine was only getting to 60. Bought CTS from eBay and stat from vw. Everything was fine temp got to 90 as per normal. Now temp won't go above 80. Thought it was the cold weather but realised it was cold few months back but no problems then....

The car is a SE saloon, but i suppose the arb could have been changed by some previous owner. not sure what to do unless i buy one of each size and try it.

maybe the 27mm could be forced in to the space and once all bolted up might be fine?????
