not really did it all for about £250

but ive you can get the old stuff off without damaging the subframe you will be ok

the speed picks up from the front passanger side drive shaft so if that is not spinning then no.

as mentioned you must have a damaged drive shaft some where hence no drive.

thats happened to me on a rear driveshaft

hopefully this weekend can clean it and take good pictures

well got my MRC/JNL racing manifold final sorted

well after three tries to get the balance and porting perfect this is the end result
also what do you think of the new wheels ;)

also welcome to my last nightmare, ended up buying a b5.5 rear subframe becasue damaged mine trying to take the seized stuff off.

but once down cooper grease it all up

as for the problem i have the same identical problem. Mine the motor has seized and i am getting a 2nd one to replace mine.

i actually have to do teh vagcom check as i hav eth estalk in my car but never been able to use it.

well took the motor off yesterday

the arm is sitting in and i can't pull it out. I then did a electric test and getting 0.4 volts and the plug for the motor when button is pushed.

is that enough? and had the motor seized?

well last night went to fill up pressed button (can't remember if it made the normal noise) and filled up. when I went to close it, it wouldn't, got annoyed pulled the carpet from the inside off and could see the motor but couldn't see how the arm should work. i am going to give it another try when ...

depending if you have a ramp

with no ramp i would say a 10

with a ramp and gearbox holder i would say a 6 (this is due to how rust the manifolds/down pipe nuts are. The rest is prity simple.

I'm not sure if it's cheaper to go rs4 stuff over w8 lol but def agree putting a s4 lump in a w8 makes sense

I would miss the v8 noise ;)

i presonaly recomend MRC

they don't do cheap generic maps they do live maps based on your cars modifications (or not) and they check your car is healthy before hand (sensor wise)

I only heard of a handfull of tuners that do that.

well i have 30bhp more than him and mine isn't slow lol

i just think he has gone a bit ott with the body work.
