Where do i put EGR blanking plate (with pic)
Hey I got an EGR blanking plate off ebay. I have some questions. 1 - Do i need to get another plate? i figured if you block one side of it its just as blocked as if you did both sides. 2 - Where do i put it, or them if i need two. heres the thingymabob http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e68/frogbende...

Re: No Turbo, abysmal (verging on dangerous) performance
the only thing i could imagine making it this bad is a boost pipe coming off is it smoking really heavily? again, points to boost pipe. if the turbo aint coming in at all and you really have to floor it to get going and when you hit 2k rpm it goes bananas jumping up and down so to speak cos the boo...

Re: Preventing DMF failure
you cant prevent it, a DMF is basically a consumable part like a clutch
some wear out in 80k some in 200k depends how its driven etc, just like a clutch
wait til it wears out, replace with a solid. thats the best you can do.

Hello mate, Recently changed from a Corrado G60 to a Passat 1.9TDi Estate and as above, even with a TDi it does take a bit of getting used to with the power delivery depending on what car you have had previously.
