Looking to get a the above springs, anyone ran them before Don’t want the car stupid low it says -30 drop front and rear has anyone got any pics of said kit with road America wheels on

What has the immobiliser code embedded is it just the key chip and ecu? One of my passats is mapped and I would like to swap the ecu in to my other one.

I have the same problem with one of my Passats my 300k 2001 works from a good distance, but my 150k 2003 you have to be up at it before it works why is this?

had another look at this checked the vacuum system no leaks found actuator swirl flap all move and hold vacuum as does the rest of the system, strange thin is it goes fine when cold after first start up only when it gets hot it’s bad? Still could be an injector or low pressure?

never set the lash will do this tonight only had an hour or so at it last nite, i am going to check the timing pin it up tonight as it has done little miles since it had a belt and my mate bought it with the problems it has, block 15 fuel consumption is way high 0.42

Had a look at this tonight torsion value was +2.50 initially went the wrong way by a very small amount and the car wouldn't start so went back the way got it around to around +.50 less smoke on idle and while holding a rev, took it back to 0 when you rev it to 3k ish and let it go back to idle it dr...

i replaced the belt on my car when i first got it after the belt change the torsion value was -2 ish i ran it like that for a month while on holiday i changed it when i got home now running 0-+1 and it is now returning 2-3 MPG more than it was while on holiday and holiday was mostly steady motorway ...

right going to check this out tonight been too busy, mates still has egr and dpf whats the opinion on the setting for torsion values is it engine specific or is there a true value with tolorence?

injectors loom? Might be, might not. Only way to tell, if there's no visual damage, is to disconnect the injector plugs and main connector and put a multimeter across it to see if it is in good shape...or not. could get different resistance readings as heat builds, dont think its a fool proof way, ...

BMR missfire problem
Mate has a Passat that has a missfire not bad when cold but as it gets hot it becomes smokey no codes and has had an injector as cyl 4 was out of range, the problem is still the same with new injector but now within tolerance?
Any ideas?

i had a remap for a while then the felx burst and a replaced the flex and the cut the cat out and had no problems.

get the clips from VW they aer about £4 each may be worth getting the seals. i have replaced the rads on both my cars as they were showing signs of rot and dampness at the bottom easy job to do even without a ramp or garage and minimal tools required.

think you are way off the mark with prices from a pro shop i know a shop here local its £200 + a panel and know a gut that does it on the side and its £100 a panel 1/4 l of metalic silver paint is £14 cant remember what i paid for a 1/2 l of blue metalic for my saloon

just an update i ran 500ml diesel purge raw and now have much less smoke and the injectors are .50 so for now its an improvement, i guess it rules out a cam.

so had a look yesterday this is what i have on the wagen that smokes (300K on the clock) -0.55 timing injector1 -1.11 injector2 0.4 injsctor3 2.3 injector4 -1.62 on my other car i have (154K on the clock) -1.55 timing adjusted to 0-+0.55 after checking last night and all 4 injsctors on this one are ...
