It comes on only while reset button is being pressed. Ah right I see. It's booked in again for then ...

Retrofit Cruise control

So while my car was in getting mapped I asked them to fit the cruise control I bought from TPS. However there's problems. Everything's fitted, lights up on the dashboard and every thing in VAGCOM says it should be working. The problem is that it doesn't work [emoji23][emoji23] won't set at any speed...

Re: 2nd gear crunch

I had a crunch in second on mine, changed the gearbox fluid and didn't really make a difference, however aft giving it a few good long distance runs which i do for work its seemed to work.

Give the oil a few hundred miles before you start ripping it to bits, might work, might not.

Pressed that button but didn't seem to do anything, didn't beep or light up to show it had activated. SO didn't want to risk it and left the key in the ignition.

I'll try it again though

Ok, so I had to crash in the back of the wagon last week, so folded the seats down and happy days. Upper and Lower Control Arm Kit

As above, Is there a full kit to available?

I spoke to TPS and for one side the price was over £600 as individual items they don't do a kit as such.

Also inner and out tie rods and specific brands etc??

Any info/links are appreciated.

The pioneer speakers will prob need to run through an amp as they have cross overs, this is where i start to get lost haha

I know the basics but start to get lost in all the technical stuff

Probably drivers side of rocker gasket. Common area to leak when it gets old. It could also be that the PCV valve in the rocker cover is blocked up which can make it leak from the rocker gasket etc as the engine is canted over to the rhs. Food for thought. 54 Passat Wagon PD175 99’ Audi S4 Avant 2....
