B5.5 saloon or estate

well i'm looking at a b5.5 to buy in the next month or so (providing someone buys either my engine, brakes or coilies off my rado).

i have no neccessity for an estate... but which one looks better???

any pointers appreciated and pics to persuade better still!!

stiffer rear anti roll bar, stiffer rear springs. (pump up the rear tyres more lol).

you could improve initial turn in with a little toe in but you will scrub your tyres slightly.

gutted you had to pay extra for it but that interior does look very nice!

looking for a tdi to be honest. have you seen the cost of tax as of 2009 for the petrol ones :shock: i.e. £300... tdi is only £150. been looking around and i should be able to pick up a high mileage one for around 2.5k. but we'll see i spose. then i just got to see if i can scrape some extra cash ...
