Re: Real world fuel economy of the 1.9tdi 110BHP AFN?
My old Audi A4 afn wagon would give me between 63-68 mpg working on tank to tank , that's on a 225mile round trip of motorway driving, you didn't by any chance press the nipple inside the filler neck without realising did you? This will vent the tank and give you at least another 5ltrs of fuel here ...

Re: Fuel economy on MFA has dropped a lot after tyre change
Running 16" falken ZE914s on my Passat tdi pd130 sport wagon they give me around the 54mpg on a run , that's working it out tank to tank and not what the computer shows , my old Audi afn 110 tdi fitted with the same size tyres used to give me between 63-68mpg on the same run , If it's the afn e...

Re: Fuel economy on MFA has dropped a lot after tyre change
Funny how that tyre varies between E & F for fuel efficiency depending on where you buy them ,
On my old Audi I found that bridgestones knocked between 6-8mpg off the consumption compared to the c rated hankooks I had fitted afterwards.

Re: Fuel economy on MFA has dropped a lot after tyre change
Those Bridgestone tyres are showing as a E rating for fuel efficiency so they won't be the best for fuel economy.

Re: Remap power
I looked at The blacksmoke map a lot of people said it was nice and smooth but the trouble is you have to do it yourself ,
I haven't got a clue or the balls to start playing around with my ecu ,
I emailed blacksmoke to see if they offer a service where they can do it for me but they don't ,

I'm looking at getting mine done but I'm not sure how far it can be pushed before it wrecks it ,
Any info will be appreciated.

Anything over 30mph and mine use to whine like a bitch ,
have a good listen around the gear stick whilst your driving along , mine used to be really loud around that area, I can only describe the sound to being like a car in reverse driving backwards at speed ( that whiney type sound)
