Re: bmw wheels
you can buy adaptors at 15mm safely nowadays so thats 5mm olff the offset. all depends on ET of the wheels. higher the offset the more it will tuck in the arch. e.g. an et 15 will stick out alot more than an et 45 wheel. My friend chirs46 on here used to run bmw x5 tigerclaws on his passat b5.5 . th...

Re: Wheel / tyre setup
How about with 245 xl tyres? What is the clearance like behind the arch and on the strut? I have 18j x 8 et42 wheels that I had on my b5.5 I had to fit 5mm spacers as they touched the strut, I've now sold the 5.5 and was considering fitting them on my b6 i personally wouldnt go any higher than 225 ...

Re: Wheel / tyre setup
The setup you have suggested will work perfect.
225 is for an 8" and will fill arches nicely with 40.

i had this not long ago. mine was the 90 degree elbow in between the turbo and intercooler.
just to add - dont buy cheap ebay pipes. they will just pop off under boost.

Re: My New B6 Pictures
looks very clean.
could be a few things causingb the coolant loss. check for leaks first i think.
Some engines did suffer from coolant channels becoming porous in the head. this is probably the worst scenario. any smoke?

Re: 4 cylinder Porsches !
Could be interesting!
Same goes with the new Mustangs!
With a porsche or a mustang.. its all about sound for me.
Which i cant see being amazing with a 4 pot compared to a chunky v6, v8 etc

Re: Ed's Drift Trike Build
Imagine like this, but without the pedals and crank and much lower profile with a reclined bucket seat, and 2 long levers and rods cranking a rear axle directly in much the same layout as piston big ends on a crankshaft with the wheel in the centre of the arrangement. https://upload.wikimedia.org/w...

Ed's Drift Trike Build
Ever since Colin Furze released his drift trike videos on youtube, ive been toying with the idea of making one myself. This thread isn't a guide as such, but if you like what you see and want to give it a go then dont be afraid to ask :). My mate owns a classic car restoration shop so we have been u...

Re: Ed's B6
Good man you had me worries for a second as it'd be foolish to change that colour! Car looks awesome anyway :-bd don't think there's much left you can or should really do to it. I wish I could get leathers but it's hassle (not mentioning money of course). I toyed with the idea on my 6n2 polo but it...

I can relate to the never ending aspect of it as I find loads of things I want to do before I've even done the current ones! Liking the ideas though. What seats you going for, leathers? Be good to see this in person now I know who owns it, what shows you heading to this year? I neeeeed to get my ca...

Re: Ed's B6
Going to do some lower livery down the side at some point. Also just got an r36 grill so toying with cutting the bumper and splitter to make it fit as it's wider and much longer. Either this or wait til September time when I go for a full r36 bumper. Then a full blown over with fresh paint. Then sea...

Saw this at UDubs last month (amongst the others - I wasn't an active member on here when I went, didn't realise it was you guys!). Looking awesome man I really like this. April 2016: New Shoes + Spray Had a good go at spraying and repairing some of the bodywork last week. Fixed the skirts and front grill firstly by reinforcing with fibreglass and then filler to smooth the cracks. Took the time and rattlecanned each part.. highbuild primer, Colour coded paint and ext...
