Car is off the road at the moment :( camshaft gone :( engine striped have to look for replacement parts tomorrow morning. No light came on the dash but car was starting to make a very strange noise.

Rear wiper motor replaced this morning. :-bd
Going to order new shocks in the next few days.
Car drove to England and back plus running around around another 1000 miles. Did not miss a beat. :-bd

do you still have the old bearing? how many miles has your car done? i have a 4motion and im getting vibrations though the seat. could this be the bearing? if the bearing in sat on the mounting holes on the floor, whats the measurement from floor to centre of bearing? is it 105mm? and 241 between m...

Mate you don't need to undo that bolt at all.
Once you have the main hub bolt undone and the 6 drive shaft bolts out the drive shaft will come of the car for you to renew the boot. The kit will come with all the bits to split the cv from the shaft.

Was in halfords few hours ago, picked up a Ø57mm exhast hanger clamp for £1.29 (cheapest thing ive ever bought there!!), worked perfect for bottom half of bead rolling/forming tool... Ebay seller sent the right hoses out so i now have hundreds of 57mm straight joiners if anyone needs... Gunna fin...

hope this helps some of you out.. saves you £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ ok so the propshaft bearing was coursing some issues on my car. (car shake,etc) after I jacked up the car to take a look the rubber on the centre bear was soft, cracked, and not looking goo...

ok so the propshaft bearing was coursing some issues on my car. (car shake,etc) after I jacked up the car to take a look the rubber on the centre bear was soft, cracked, and not looking good at all. cheep kits have cheep parts in them u want a quality kit then spend a bit more thats why i went for buying it separately using samco hose and sfs hoses and all metal pipes had swaged ends too for that little bit of extra grip i would imagine having swaged ends been a waste of time in most cases sin...

You will find it difficult to get those oversize hoses to seal properly on that pipe. It's bad enough trying to get a leak free system when the pipes are the correct size. If I was fitting mine again I would have used a mole grip with the washer and exhaust clamp welded on to get a bead on the end ...

May have try and blag a car to get to work. Till the propshaft is repaired. Last thing I want to do is chuff it up altogether. Coming home to England in a 2 weeks hope I have it sorted before then. #-o
