3 little ones : 110nm (81lbft) on all 3 the angle tighten 90deg.

Large pivot bolt : 120nm (89lbft) on each then angle tighten 90 deg.

Indeed, you heat it up to form the shape on the OUTSIDE, with the clear film facing out, Then peel and transfer to the inside, much easier to get it good that way as you don't have to battle the curve of the window as the film is already curved

A 1.8t should have 288mm Ate setup, but to check look for the antirattle spring clip on the caliper, if it's there then you have ATE calipers

The engine is transverse in the golf, on the B5/B5.5 Passat it's longitudinal so you either need to drop the sub frame or raise the engine, to get the sump out, other than that yes, sump sealer, and a ring of bolts.

Drop the puddle light, disconnect it from the wiring, remove bulb, insert LED one, refit, notice I doesn't work as you will always fit it the wrong way first, remove, turn the led round, refit, enjoy!

Anyone coming next week have a front spring/shock of any description in any condition for a b5/b5.5 ? It can be returned in undamaged condition, just need one off the car for measurements

You did some leak checking with refrigerant? Do you work for Kwik fit?
