Anyone know of there is a straight LED replacement for the interior lighting? Anyone done a conversion?

Yeah, the bottom one illuminates the ashtray. The one on the middle dial is supposed to light the other two. Doesn't do much though

Heater control illumination sucks. The middle dial is lighted, but the outer two are dark. It's like that on every B4 I've seen. Badly designed!

years are a bit off, I think. Mine's a 1996 and it's LB7Z, a 1997 colour according to the list.

Could be nothing, but some have it. no big deal. if there's rust you can always put another front wing on.

Had the same thing with my B4 a few months ago. Replaced the alternator and it was fixed.

Honestly? I'd keep the Passat and sell the Astra. It'll last longer!

So what can I do to a B4 with VagCom besides fault codes lookup?

I just painted the back of the two clear plastics white. Hope that way they reflect the light better :/
