Having trouble today selecting 6th gear .. just dosn't want to go in no mater how much I pull on It ... then all of a sudden It does ..? No noises at all from the box ... its a 2002 tdi sport And done 127000 ..Oh And every other gear is fine ?

Just had same prob ...mine was vibrating ..just where the intake sits under the air box cover .. put some foam between the two and silence ...took some finding lol sounded awful ...thought I had engine probs

I have pirreli p6000 and. Conti sport at the mo ... both very good ..try Tesco for Tyres ... yes Tesco lol ..they deliver or fit .. been looking at yoko c drive for mine for $ 57 and that's on a 205/55/16

Well let's put it this way the lower ic hose is wet and the anti roll bar bush is shot as the oil has made it swell .. but non has dried onto the drive yet ... tbh I hav'nt looked under it for a while and only noticed as I wanted to check the bushes as they are knocking

well took it out to see how well it went ... dont normaly rev it hard ... under acceleration i had some smoke ... manly black ... flat out it did about 120 mph ? dont know if thats good or not ... its done 127000 ... oh and it dosnt seem to smoke now ...still get 45mpg - 55mpg out of it ...will have...

is it normal for the intercooler to drip oil from lower intake ? had car nearly 3 years and it was just damp around there when i first got it ... also had to top up the oil for the first time although its nearly done 9000 miles since last service...get slight blue smoke on start up when cold first t...
