i went for the b7 rack as i found one for 80£ from a passat with 50k. changed the inner tie roads for brand new ones and no problems ever since.

i replaced it with a poly bush. all i did was cut them out and put new on in. mine was split too

you are lucky then... bought mine with 90k and changed hexkey, turbo, mechatronic unit, fuel pump and had to remove dpf... now 137k... almost forgot, snapped rear spring....
