Remap only ups it by about 12bhp or something like that, a heavy foot for Mr Imran will be more than enough to make him happy and sort out the granny probem

Ok, I am a bit of a granny driver, everyone says it including the missus. I normally change from 1st to 2nd when it hits 2k revs, then 2nd to 3rd when it hits 3k revs, wait till it hits 4k revs then 4th gear. On the motorway I was in 5th gear doing 80 at roughly 4k revs (give or take a bit), braked...

To be fair, i dont really find the Passat 1.8 non turbo to be bad at all... I dont have any problems with it picking up speed or anything......... Not that i know of anyway!! Obviously what gear your in, what revs your are at and what speed you are doing all matters along with the level of the road ...

Well, its wasnt fun getting my son into the back of my Mk2 Golf GTI (with all the toys of course) plus i work with the NHS Directors and turning up in the Golf, got me a few nastey looks (Which im not too bothered about) and just thought i would treat myself to a newer car and also get a sensible mo...

Phew i wasnt being stupid!!
its a metal lever that moves up and down...its quite easy to see from the back...i found the easiest way was to take the headlights out and do it as was a bit fiddley and didnt want to be moved!! Havnt got any pics, but will see if i can get some later...

Might sound stupid or might be missing the point completely, but i had the same problem, and i have a little lever next to the bulb holder inside the headlight, switch and done!!

Some kid shouted, "Wow, cool car, my dad has one of those Mondeos too" That was my lowest point. not had anything that low, but BMW was a bit close to the bone!! hahahahaha!! I can understand why people dont know what my car is slightly as the only VW badges on the car is on the steering ...

Im not a huge fan of the boot spoilers personally...but passat130's picture has made me think twice!! I wouldnt get one for my car, but if you like them then go for it!!

If boot speed is an issue check this out: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/136631 Its new on the market at £189 but importantly it uses solid state memory, which means it takes only 15 seconds to boot up. I did the Passat jobs during the week!! hahahaha, all new headlight bulbs, and all indicator bulbs... New gear knob and gaitor... at the weekend i might try and clean up the leather steering wheel as its got loads of dirt and poo on it...Apart from that im hoping for a pretty quiet weekend for a cha...
