Plugs? Mines due one in 800 miles. Im going for: oil change, gearbox oil check, diff oil check. coolant change, new plugs, brakes are being done too but thats not part of the service requirement. alrite guy i remember seein these in a gb on here a while back, the ones that replace the grab handle. where do i get them from? seen to types on ebay, one gen for £26 and one from japan about £10 with postage.

just wounderin as im goin to service mine and want to make sure it wont effect it?

so fully synthetic over 10/40 then? and i was goin to go to gfs to get the bits, will that be gen vw or not?

and am i right in sayin ill need:
-5-6lt of oil
-oil fillter
-air fillter
-pollen fillter

is there a fuel one i should do? or anything else that i should do while im at it?

alrite guy ive looked up the v6 code but theres 3? ACK/ APR/ AFA whats the differance between them just the date of production?

alrite guys my b5 v6 is due a service but im a bit strped for cash so im goin to do it myself, wouuld normaly take it to my mate paul at APD but hes snowed under. ive done one on my rado vr and one on my old golf gti b4 but just want to know what i need, what to look out for, sholud i change anythin...

no splits in any of the pipes mate, already checked that. have been told it mit be the n75 on its way out?

had this with mine too a few months back, do a search for the thread and itll have part numbers for a new one i think.

Would strongly suggest you check the gearbox oil carefully as its not something VW do at service intervals as they consider it a "sealed for life " unit.... believe it or not and at anything over 50,000 miles you might think about changing oil and filter... means dropping gearbox sump, us...

i would normal send my satt to my mates garage (APD) for a serivce but am goin to do it myself to save a few pennys. is there anything eles i should do while im at it besideds oil/fillter?

so the same as the side light bulbs in my headlights then (b5)? if so ive got a load of them free from ordering on powerblubs direct
