Gave Trig a bit of a spruce up today before work. He was getting rather manky from several weeks of dust and bird bombs Also spruced up my other 2 B5’s while I had the kit out. Just a quick wash, nothing involved. Didn’t even do the wheels, just a quick pressure wash off. The Cactus AFN came up quit...

Also planning to add fogs and refurbish the AC system which has never worked this year. The front end swap p...

Brilliant thank you gents. Next question is . Need to change the clutch at the same time do I chance reusing the dmf it gives no symptoms of being worn after 150k? The CPS is on the left hand side of the block bud. Reads a reluctor ring on the crankshaft and is wired to the grey plug in the bulkhead behind the coolant tank.

Re: People in need of help in and around the South West..
Hi I live in Oxford. Passat 5.5 Highline 2003. The driver's leather seat is beginning to show signs of age and the dreaded hot spot means I can't use the seat heater. I have a seat restorer near me, but no courtesy car. I need to hire/buy a spare seat so that I can then swap/drive and drop off the ...

I checked with kufatec, your right it's about £20 for the harness but like £30 for postage but steep, I've got the same harness with the one I bought but I think it has the wrong shape pins as there flat (small spade) kufatec one looks like round pins, I'm thinking I could just splice into the wire...

Re: Cruise installation
Yo, I fit several of these a year bud. Your best bet is to get the stalk and buy the OEM retrofit harness from Kufatec which was about £20 last I looked. It pins into pins 7/8/9/10 on the white connector in the ECU housing. Plus a switched ignition live that’s usually fed off Fuse #5 Sent from my iP...
