Unfortunately it isn't the key that's the problem it's the Immobiliser system. A £25 eBay key may be able to open and close your car etc but it will not enable you to start and run your car because the cars immobiliser circuitry will not recognise it. Thought it might be, same engine code as mine so you have the 4 stud hub.

Mine's an 07 Sport 170 DSG and the hub has 4 large Torx studs.

The outer bearing is a roller type held tight by the hugely torqued hub bolt.

If you let me know your engine code I can tell you exactly what you have.

Engine mounts perhaps? Particularly the engine to subframe lower mount? I say this as the steering box is located on the subframe which is connected to the bottom of the engine by a short bushed arm, have you checked the inner bush which is hidden between the engine and subframe?? Hth.

Bit of a broad question . Turbos can go at any mileages for lots of reasons.. ..do you get any engine warning lights? If you do then a fault diagnostic will narrow this down a bit. Post any fault codes to enable us to assist, thanks.
