only keys I have are the standard keys with the VW logo in the middle, one which has a button for the torch.

So it's a case for the VW dealership to sort it out?

Only plug I've seen in the boot is the cigar socket. Where abouts am I looking, and call me stupid but what is the bullet fob?

I have a 98 R-reg B5 Passat and have recently noticed that when I lock the car from any other lock than the drivers door then the drivers door will remain unlocked. I don't have remote central locking but the button inside the door fails to lock that door also. Any ideas what would be causing this? ...
