Box still out or out again ???.

Engine earth is that ok.

You say they are decent batteries and last.
Have you had them some time or did you just buy them.
I used to buy Duracell when i had my passats fitted when i first got a car and lasted my ownership of 4 to 5 years.

Think he got a hand of a mobile mechanic to get the box back in.

Try turning the shaft input the bit the driveshaft fastens to.
Just turn it a little bit.
You might have tried that but it was just a thought.

Might sound daft but did you try the clutch plate on the shaft at all before putting it on.
I have seen a wrongly boxed clutch before in fact they had one 2 months ago at my mates garage.

Many many years ago i have used a couple of longer nut/bolts to pull it together a bit.
Then turned the flywheel round a bit until it the shaft slipped into the spline.
Hope you get what i am saying plus the longer bolts i had lying around and not from the car.

It should be ok as that connection is straight to the battery.
The smoke would be burning oil and poo.

Thought it was the one on the engine round the end of the crank.
You did post a picture of one asking if you had to buy it in it's surround or on it's own.
Don't know anything about the one on the bearing sorry.

Years ago i did many cars with just the front raised.

65mph is the magic speed for my x5 on the left.
Noticed a lot of drivers have slowed down since fuel prices went sky high.
Just how long until they speed up again or have they seen the mpg go up and stick to the lower speed.

Is that on a brim to brim fill or on the dash readout.

Bit late to the party but turned up in the end.

You can buy the id48 ?? chip but it does need programming to your car.
Software is required for this not like resyncing the remote by pressing a button sequence.

Can't remember what i got to a tank but there was a big difference on a long runs to round town.
600 sounds not bad at all to me.

The board should work after resyncing it.
The bit that works the immobiliser and must stay with the key is the small glass bit.
In that advert it it in the second picture on the left of the case it is glass so easy to brake.
If the back cover from your old case will fit then use it.
