You can hand-crank it shut if it's electric and the motor has failed. Take out the interior light adjacent to the sunroof switch and its mounting plate, and you'll find somewhere to put a flat-bladed screwdriver to wind the mechanism. the standard bolts you have will have the vw radius seating most aftermarket wheels have a 60degree taper seating the easiest way to check would be to put standard bolt in one of the mounting holes and see if it will move around in the seating,if it does they are not the correct bolt seating.And dep...

its behind the right hand side of the rocker cover, black plastic pipe with a smaller vacuum pipe coming of it and a green blanking cover should be on the other spare pipe thats not usedblootak wrote:hummm i will investigate

sounds similar to what i found with mine earlier,discovered it was the spare nipple on the servo non return valve doo dah the plastic cover that blanks it off had cracked and the end broke off causing a nice air leak and some hunting

thanks matt thats the informative info i was after,i think i will deffo go for the pb head as its due a cambelt change and the head gasket seems to weep a little sometimes,so it would be rude not too :wink: i think thats as far as i would want to go with it to be honest although a t60 swap could be ...
