Hi i currently have a 2007 B6 tdi sport with the standard mp3 head unit. I am wanting to connect my iphone 5 to a stereo so i can stream my music. Dont have one in my B6, but had one in my Bora TDI. Ordered from a company called 42draft designs, quality was excellent, instructions where really good looked very OEM with the matching pillar pod. Was exactly the same as clocks which dimed on dimmer also. Good value for money.

I would start by doing a gear box flush first of all, and putting new fluid in your not losing anything if you haven't noticed any clutch slip etc

Has the car got continental tyres?

If so i had this issue with mine, when i first bought it took it back to dealer a few times complaining of wheel bearing type noise and dealer was unable to find anything. When i have change the tyres to another brand the noise has gone.

Cant get to the wheels to get the numbers off them.

Had the same problem with mine after i had a tow bar fitted (second hand original vw one with loom). Had an auto electrician look at it and it was the live feed for the tow bar, only solution was to connect to a ignition live, which is fine unless i need to have hazards on when towing and key is not...

Do you have continental tyres on the rear?

I had the same issue on my 2007 went into main dealer twice, no issue with wheel bearings.

Changed the tyres and the noise went.

i just got a decent brand off ebay.

Mines at exactly the same stage same year 56k i have just had my car serviced but havent done timing belt, have to wait till i have more penny's.

i bought a genuine tow bar with the original wiring loom and had it fitted a couple of months ago. The fitter cut a hole in the rear valance as the tow bar came with a estate rear valance which is slightly too big so need a saloon one. Have a issue with the battery draining since tow bar was fitted ...
