Ok final update, turns out fuse and switch were actually ok. It has had a generous lubrucation of all moving parts and the sunroof tracks and have had to re learn the switch how to operate ( pic below) pleased to say now working as it should including opening and closing via key fob. As an update it's the switch not fuse.. rotating does nothing but a long press on tilt control can move it open and closed ok...

Price of new switch eye watering for what it is!

Can anyone in the know tell me the pan roof fuse 2012. Can only reply re the handbrake .... had 3 vw with them and us normal as u des tube ... air filter usually every other service as far as I am aware. And if you have a square sensor sensor at top of windscreen in the area of rear view mirror you will have the rain and light sensor

If I remove the drivers seat belt and then switch off the ignition the handbrake doesn't automatically apply.. is this normal?
If I leave the belt on and then switch off the car it comes on fine..

Releases automatically as normal when driving off
