Just phoned VW customer services and they told me it's already been fixed, should I be worried?

Why? Not all cars were effected were they?

Reserved the car for viewing but it's actually off site having an MOT so won't be available to view tomorrow!

I have a 1.8 TSi CC but have been driving a 2.0 Diesel B8 estate with DSG, I'm in love and really want one.

I've been looking at B7 RLines on autotrader but I can't understand why the vehicle interiors are all so basic, literally line a Passat S.

I currently have a VW CC 1.8TSi but after a minor bump have been given a 2016 Passat estate 2.0 diesel with DSG and I love it so looking to trade up.

I think the 2.0 SE Business edition is just out of budget but a 1.6 is more in budget for me, how are they in comparison?

What area are you guys in? I have a fantastic independent VW specialist near me who would take a look.

Has anyone tried turning off the interior sensor every time they arm the alarm to see if the problem continues?

Ebay £15 they seem to be all the same size so I don't know why eBay sellers say they are model/year specific, I was told these wouldn't fit my CC but they do.

Never used them, I do however have a great local independent near me called Volksmaster who do all my servicing and repair work.

All 2012 onwards CC's have bi-xenon lighting so I don't know how it was optional, either way yes my CC has led number plate lighting.

Each window needs to be reprogrammed, you usually open the window with the button held dow and keep it held down for 4 seconds after being fully opened, do the same for closing it, close then hold for 4 seconds, repeat with each window.

Should work then.

So my auto wipers decided to stop working today, when plugged in it says the headlight/rain sensor has lost communication, although the auto headlights are still working the wipers only wipe intermittent, been quoted £320 for a new sensor and fitting, anyone had this issue?

I'm happy I didn't buy the mondeo TDCi I was looking at last month, I'm even happier that dirty diesels will be disappearing from large city's.
