Normally worse to select gear when it's cold gets better when warm and up to running temp

chances are you will still on the original clutch & dmf , i know many people get good mileage before needing replacements, me how ever was one of the more unlucky ones a tad over 100k mine started chattering , they can go on for a long time like this but to prevent further damage i changed mine...

Is possible, check easier things first, does the gearstick move much when letting off? Update been out in car tonight and is fine

Soon as turn heater right off it starts bouncing /missing but turn heaters back on and it seems ok for a bit ???

Will this have a dual mass????

Also I may sound thick now but can someone explain a dual mass to me please and also is it costly to fix if goes wrong and what are the signs of them failing ????

i agree which whats been said above how ever i also got this feeling when my dual mass flywheel started to go at first it would come and go while idling , but to honest at this point with out a video it could be many causes. next time its doing it listen as the wheel front wheel arch does it chatte...
