the problem with that is during the years of heat and cooling cycles they can become very hard to drill

Genuine filter and oil at 5K in the 12 years ive had it.
Just sluggish get the oil to the top end, 198K so far.

my old TDI wagon does the exact same its on 302K

from what you say it sounds like you have pretty even wear across the whole tyre, a harder compound tyre may suit the road conditions better where you live.

Can’t post pictures on here? But I started at 5:30 removed the old one changed the actuator to the other cleaned the inlet manifold was clogged up as was the egr turbo fitted and car was running by 8:30 not bad no rushing and cleaned up the inlet and egr, found a split in the intercooler tho ffs

I have had loads of them know now when they are starting to fail, at the point they are making the noise it is now it’s only a matter of time I have had them fail spontaneously in a puff of smoke.

I think the fwd and 4motion fronts are the same cv joints If the engine is the same then yes (only applies to AVF in this case) Smaller BHP engines have smaller CV joints / bearings. I had a set of 5 speed shafts and if I remember correctly that were different length to the 6 speed there is as someone says 2 different cv joints big and small I think the fwd and 4motion fronts are the same cv joints are only about £30 and fairly easy for a home diy to change

I have had no issues as yet with genuine kits from VW and can get them at a good price, i couldnt get a non genuine kit for the same price as the genuine one.

i had mine off stripped cleaned all the vanes and rebuilt and running within 4 hours i find it quicker removing the complete manifold and airbox

will try it tonight chees for the replys

i have just done in my wagon and done it last year on my saloon what is it you are having problems with? is it a genuine kit or an ebay kit? i have the instructions here if required

i dont have that software i have VAG-COM so preferably using that, all else fails i will try that

i gat a fairly consistiant 43MPG in my 4motion saloon mixed driving motorway (slow trafic) and town driving my trip computer is very close to my calculated MPG, the only thing that i notice is with the EGR delete it is slow on reaching 90 and never gets there in winter even with a genuine VW thermos...

i was looking for sport springs for my 4 motion it proved to be very dificult to get the correct ones, i now have Eibach pro kit and Koni shocks

you can buy a kit from ebay that does SKF bearings, brushes and a cpl other parts

Looks nice not to low, I have coil overs on my saloon ad it is ok, may actually swap them over, not sure on the make bit the adjuster keys are TA tecnic
