anybody know if its likely that only one bad sensor is causing the 2 sensors to throw up codes?

if its just the one, that'll save me nearly £100!

If you have no cat and a faulty lambda sensor then you are bound to be having issues. The ECU will be probably running in a get you home mode and won't ever be delivering full power. Karl. With the fault codes I have, would it be the sensor before the cat or after.....or both? 4 Faults Found: 16522...

heres a log inc boost. not at full throttle, just normal driving to get to the by-pass before I did some power runs. I don't know if anybody can see anything wrong here?

I tried spacing them out 12mm, but had clearance issues on the top arms/strut so went for 20mm.

I'm on air pal, so height is always adjustable :p !

I'm running 19" 9.5j et41 with 20mm sapecer (et21) with 235/35/19 tyres. I think of u aim for et20 u should be ok pal.

looking at the lambda values, the specified values seem to be a lot lower then the actual value, what does this mean :???:

yeah mate, i think it might be be wiring. as over the years the cat has been changed for a decat quite a few times. so both the lambda sensors have had the wires twisted, more than once..... :oops:

anybody know if I can use vagcom to see if its the fuel pressure dropping, or any other ideas? the 2nd spike on the graph, u can clearly see something was holding me back? also does the jerky graph for acceleration look right, or should it be more smooth(i don't know if its just the way the graph is...

When did you last change the fuel filter, I can't see what could go wrong with the fuel pressure regulator other than a split vacuum line to it or a split diaphragm (never seen that happen though) the fuel filter gets changed every service. prob around 3-4k ago. I had this problem before the last s...

UPDATE........

Well after getting a load of bad earth faults via vagcom I'm now thinking faulty Fuel relay?

Also possible faulty fuel pressure regulator?

just google fpr fault symptoms, and they sound like what I have, but then what would explain the short to ground codes :-s ??

both have covered 135,000+ miles, so could do with changing, but I wonder which one .... relay - or - fpr ?

Fuel pump relay part number is 4D0951253 (372) grey behind fuse panel location. With all your delete and mods you have done the car is looking for them this must running like a pig dude . I have got a relay if you need one but it very possible it could fuel pressure regulator fault check the piping...

we pay a discounted £39 at the moment, discount being 50%.
