Re: cool anti theft device
Being from peasoup, it would be similar if not the same to standard theatrical smoke, which is fine to breath in (unless you're an actor who should start coughing uncontrollably at the sight of it) As for smell there should be none left behind after having the windows open for a little bit, glycol b...

Re: B6... A Working Progress
Could you get one of the tool kits that fits in the spare wheel, then loose the standard kit & loose at least one tank by the side of the spare wheel? (Don't know the diameter of the tank / width of the foam insert for the tool kit) just a thought!

I think for the cornering fogs, you just need the right module in the car & then code them in, not sure of the number for the module though!

Re: Outer Door Handles - LED lights
Mines an 's' model as well, but may upgrade the modules to do the mirror lights as I'd like folding B7 mirrors, also like to put leccy windows & speakers in the rear, but I'm just awkward like that ;)
As for the handles I think it would be a good mod if we can find a place to mount the LEDs

Re: Outer Door Handles - LED lights
I'm interested as well, I'd imagine the power would have to come from the same place as the under mirror lights, as they illuminate when you unlock the car.

Where are the electrical connections into the screen? & is it easy to do?
Making a nice big list of jobs for the dry weather!
& sebp, completely forgot about the rear tear drop wiper! Are you still interested?

Re: Mk2 caddy van engine swap
Yeah I'm trying to get the details from him.
Uprated turbo I think will have to be done! as for the newer ECU I shall have a look around, just got it cheap as a bit of a summer project
Also need to get a decent FMIC for it.
Is it easy to change to the new ECU in the old caddy?

Mk2 caddy van engine swap
Hey I have a mk2 caddy van, SDI engine had been removed & a "1.9TDI AFN engine with uprated crank rods and pistons fitted and the head has been ported and polished with a cam" (quote from the guy who fitted it before I had it) However needs an ECU & wiring loom, which ECU's are sui...

Re: Headlight switches
It just needs turning on with VCDS & then the lights will come on when you unlock the car, to have the lights stay on for a bit when you get out of the car & lock it, just leave the headlight switch in the on position after driving
