nothing under insulation tape,what colour are the wires for the electric windows so I can get my missus to point out the wires as im colour blind

It cud be damaged vac pipes as mentioned above plus a dirty throttle body as also mentioned I had similar symptons to you but mine was the throttle body,it was filthy. Gave it a clean with some carb cleaner and it solved the problem.

Right it appears that the drivers side door lock mech is broke so a new one is required,ive disconnected the alarm as it was going off everytime I unlocked the car, also electric windows on drivers side have stopped working now,well everywhere,although i gave the drivers side a clout with frustratio...

Just done a scan and it came up with code 01135,ive cleared it and its come back again,ive only got the vds lite version. Looks like its interior senser but ive no idea where this is or even if its that.
Could someone clarify if that's the issue and the location of it. 1999 apu 1.8t

Hi all when I unlock the car with the fob the alarm keeps sounding and the front interior lights flickers on and off before staying on. Also when locking it with fob all doors lock except drivers,which I then do with key. If I unlock using the key the alarm also sounds. Would this point to a drivers...

When you last started it how far did you move it and how long was the engine running for? clutch price
Hi all think my clutch is starting to slip more so in 4th or 5th when giving it some beans,its been remapped. What sort of price would I be looking at to replace it inc dmf,i assume it has one,its a 1.8t apu 99. Normal driving it seems ok but if ive got a load up it appears to slip not a lot though ...

Ive got the same in mine is it an easy ish job? Ive put a new turbo on mine so should a rocker cover casket be an ok job to do?

Think it would be the indicator bulb I reckon as I had a dodgy number plate bulb but it never effected the indicators. If the bulb has blown then,when you put the hazards on do all the indicators work.

Can someone confirm if yellow and black are live for the dipped beam,as I have 2 connectors on the lights one has 3 wires and one has 4,im assuming the connector with 4 wires does the lights.
