Re: b3 with teledials pic request
I'm running 15x7's (et52's) on 20mm adapters (and 195/50's) on my B4 and they sit well I think http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/craig1010cc/passat/CRIM0071.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/craig1010cc/passat/CRIM0068.jpg but I think that you'd struggle with Et 23's on 30mm's with out...

Re: how well do B4's ride on 17's?
I ran my 1st B4 on 205/40/17 falkens and it drove very well on them. Did have standard suspension so don't know what it'd be like on coilies, but if the 15" Porker's hadn't come up at a good price, I would have got some 17's for my current one without hesitation.

urgent door issue
Morning all
Went out to drive my B4 to work this morning. Got into it fine, but the drivers door wont latch shut now!!!!
Any ideas? Tried some WD40 in it but that didn't seem to make any difference.
Cheers
Craig

very true
Have to admit that it doesn't go to bad for a big old thing and am more than happy with 52 MPG
have been thinking about 'alternative' fuels for it

The 16's would have been nice, but these where at too good a price to refuse
Hmm, does sound like getting it in and out will be interesting A job for next spring I think (will talk nicely to the chap that does the interiors for my mini ;) )

Well, done nearly 2k in it already and have to say that I am loving it (espec the 52 MPG i'm averaging at the mo :) ) quick question for you all, how do you remove the headlinging as it is starting to drop at the front. Thinking that the rims will stay orange for a bit until I get bored of them, then will prob paint them black or find some D90's instead

Cool, it is a proper decent scrappy with a reclomation yard attached to it as well (if you are in the market for house stuff) and used to have a barn selling cheap tools as well. Must make the effort to go in there at some point, just for anose if nothing else :) Clarages in cartertoon used to be Ok...

Its a bit far from you steve, but Haynes of East Challow (near Wantage) is a proper old school scrappy. Always used to keep the cars single stack and priced well. Not been for about 7 years though

It has indeed chap, it now resides with Bluey.
