The only downside is my engine bay does get pretty dirty, but hey, i dont drive with the bonnet up so no one can see anyway!! :lol:

Hubcentric ones bolt onto the hub, universal ones just sit between the hub and wheel.

Ditto.... Hubcentric are the way to go!

Im running 45mm at the rear and 25mm on the front...the stance it gives is awesome and i love it!! :wink:

Not sure on handling increase as they have always been on there since i have had the car so cant comment on that side of things really...

I have the same problem too :cry: but im pretty sure mine is the sender as have run it through Vag-Com and pics up that the sender is intermittent (sp) and also have run the dash test and the dials all work fine!! Will be replacing the sender when i get time too! Think the senders are only about £8...

I use ZoneAlarm antivirus/spyware/firwall etc on PC and never once has a problem with it, and has never let me down!! On my work laptop we use a piece of tut called trend and is poo!! lol... but who cares its a work laptop! on top of that have a hardware firewall, and some security tweaks :lol: :wink:

i have a b5 and it runs down the passenger side of the car...centre console....guard over the pasenger footwell the goes down thorough the trim on by the sill....then comes up to the side of the passenger rear seat (little panel to the side)

My alarm does not make any sound :cry: the alarm does actually go off as in the indicators flash but no sound...have tried the above and have had no luck... :cry: anyone have any other ideas?? Mine too - Sam's (mycarsavw) offered to run it on VAGCom to see if it's just been silenced and needs wakin...

Just got off the phone from the stealers, and its costing me £25.24 all in!! and i will have them by tuesday! Sorted!! Thanks for you help people!! is that for all 4 or just the 1 For the two drivers sides ones... I wanted them quicker than a week...and buy the time you add P+P (and VAT maybe) ont...

i spoke to G-Werks and he said that i can buy them from VW and they are about £30 a side, flettened, primered and stickied up. I just wanted to get a part number or something to make it easier as the dealers down here are pretty dim! lol

Side Rubbing Strips

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has the part no's for the rubbing strips on the drivers side...i have been told they are V6 ones and come all primered and stickied on the back :? but to be honest i havnt a clue and means absolutely nothing to me!! I need to get them ordered ASAP so any help would...
