The B7 Passat's have their DRL lights next to the front fogs, as a separate lamp apparently. However I do believe it can be coded via VCDS

I quite like the look of this one, automatically records when you start the ignition & you can wire it in to the alarm to record when the alarm goes off bit pricey being that you need to buy the cameras as well...

Also if you've only driven a few miles, it will drop a lot faster than if you've done 100, because the average is affected more by the 0 mpg

Maybe it's because the V5 is called a V5

Facing down hill to release it I just drive away normally, or if I just want to roll forward a bit, lift the clutch ever so slightly & just blip the throttle when I want to move & it releases lol

As above, takes a bit more time on the 4s than the 3GS as you have to go in through the back, so you have to gut the phone to get the screen out. Although I have a nice new service book for the engine & have to take it back for its 500 mile service (which is a strange thing on a 124k car lol!)

The beast is alive! Just picked it up this evening (after a hefty bill) & the difference compared to how it used to drive... Amazing! Had two mechanics both come up to me & say they took it for a test drive after fitting the engine, all they said was "that's not standard is it" I h...

Ask any window cleaner, they start with the upstairs windows first for a reason all the dirty water runs down to the bottom! lol

I think I'm on 11.11 now...

I wish I could make my auto hold stay on/be on automatically when car started :-(. I have found all the failings above but somehow it has started to get better and I know when to feather when I done want it to hold, and to put a bit more press on to hold it on a gradient when I DON'T want to roll. ...

Although as for something preventative, I'm not sure what you could really do short of replacing the intake manifold... & have you seen the price of those!?

124k the garage said they had never seen an intake manifold valve break like that before.
Think I'm gonna get a bare block engine put in, as everything around the engine is good, then I'll have a car with 0 miles on the engine plus some warranty lol!
